WHO WE ARE

TENETS OF FAITH

We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God, is infallible, and has supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct. (2Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:21).

We believe there is one living and true God, the creator of all things, eternally existing in three persons; the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit. (Genesis 1:1; Mathew 3:16-17; 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14).

We believe in self-existent, an infinite, perfect in holiness, wisdom, power, loving and merciful, hears  & answers prayer, and saves people from sin and death all who come to Him through Jesus Christ.  (Gen. 1:1; Eph. 4:6; John 1:12-13, John 5:19-21, John 17:1-5; Isa. 40:21-28, Isa. 43:10-13, Isa. 46:8-11; Rom. 8:14-16).

We believe in Jesus Christ, God’s only begotten Son, conceived by the Holy Spirit, virgin birth, and sinless life. We believe in His substitutionary atoning death, bodily resurrection, ascension into heaven, perpetual intercession for His people, and personal visible return to earth.  (Luke 1:26-35, 1Cor 15:3-8)

We believe the person and work of the Holy Spirit, a promise from the Father whose work is to convict the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment, and to regenerate, sanctify, and empower all who believe in Jesus Christ, indwells the believer, develops a Christ-like character, giver and bearer of fruits in the believer to build the body of Christ.  We believe the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in other tongues is as relevant today as it was in the Bible days.  (Gen. 1:2, Joel 2:28, 1 Cor. 13:8, 1 Cor. 14:22; John 16:7-8; 1 Cor. 6:19, 1 Cor. 12:13; Eph. 1:13-14, Eph. 4:30; Gal. 5:16-17, Gal. 22-23; Rom. 8:5-13; 1 Pet. 4:10-11; Rom. 12:3-8).

We believe that man was created in the image of God but fell into sin, which resulted in his spiritual death and separation from God. Only through regeneration by the Holy Spirit can salvation and spiritual life be obtained.   We believe salvation is a free gift from God through faith in Christ Jesus (Eph. 2:8-9, Romans 10:8, 9, 11).

We believe in the universal church, a living spiritual body of which Christ is the head and all regenerated persons are members. We believe in the local church, consisting of a company of believers in Jesus Christ, baptized on a credible profession of faith, and associated for worship, work, and fellowship. We believe that God has laid upon the members of the local church the primary task of giving the gospel of Jesus Christ to a lost world. (Acts 1:8; 1 Cor. 12:12-27; Eph. 1:20-23, Eph. 4:1-6, Eph. 4:12-16; Matt. 28:18-20; John 17; Col. 1:24-29).

We believe that in the atonement, the healing of the sick is provided for God’s people (Mark 16:18; Matthew 8:17; James 5:14-16; Isaiah 53:4 and 5; I John 3:8; Luke 13:16; Acts 10:38). However, we do not oppose seeking the assistance of qualified medical practitioners or government health orders.

We believe in the personal and visible return of the Lord Jesus Christ to earth and the establishment of His kingdom. We believe there will be a bodily resurrection of the dead — the believer to everlasting joy with the Lord and the unbeliever to judgment and eternal punishment (Romans 2:7; 6:2; 1 John 1:2, 2:25; Revelation 2:7; Job 19:26, John 5:28; 11:23; 1 Corinthians 15:2; Colossians 3:3; 2 Peter 1:11).

OUR MISSION

Our mission is to build and equip churches/leaders that can minister effectively in the 21st century.  As iron sharpens iron, we intend to model New Testament leaders committed to spiritual growth. To work together and change the world by strengthening the spiritual calling bestowed on us by the Almighty God to Glorify His name. To foster and build a stronger Ghanaian community of faith through our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

OUR VALUES

We believe that Christians should live for the glory of God and the well-being of others; that their conduct should be blameless before the world; that they should be faithful stewards of their possessions; and that they should seek to realize for themselves and others the full stature of maturity in Christ.  (Gal. 2:20; 1 Pet. 1:15-16, 1 Pet. 2:11; 2 Cor. 5:14-15; Rom. 6:11-13; Eph. 2:10, Eph. 4:11-12, Eph. 4:22-24; 1 Pet. 4:10-11; Acts 1:8; Matt. 28:18-20; Col. 1:10; John 15:8, 16).

We believe that local churches can best promote the cause of Jesus Christ by cooperating with one another for fellowship, edification, kingdom building, and or attracting the lost and winning the lost. (Psalm 133:1, Prov. 27:17, John 13:35, 1 Peter 3:12).

We believe that every human being has direct relations with God, and is responsible to God alone in all matters of faith; that each church is independent and must be free from interference by any ecclesiastical or political authority; that therefore Church and State must be kept separate as having different functions, each fulfilling its duties free from dictation or patronage of the other.
